Cannot see where I can find the licences for the various versions of Acronis True Image that I have. When I check "Serials" i get the same number for each version of Acronis True Image that I have and the "Serials" bear no relation to the licence numbers. This is very frustrating. Why can't the website provide clear and easy information?

The serial number is what you need to install the various products. Each product and major versions will have a different serial number. I'm not aware of any license numbers being associated with Acronis products.

I want to see the LICENCE numbers of the various versions of Acronis that I have purchased from Acronis. A licence number is required, for instance, when you are installing an upgrade version of Acronis that is no longer on your computer. When you install the upgrade and enter the licence number you are then requested to enter the licence number of the full version of the software that you had originally installed. I hope this is clear.

Douglas,
What you are saying is not completely correct. It's been a while so I don't recall what the prompt says but when installing any given version you need the enter the serial number for that version. This is the license number. If what you are installing is an upgrade version (which is really the full program) you will be prompted to enter a second serial as proof that you qualify for the upgrade which is generally available at a reduced cost. This doesn't have to be a full version. I used the serial number for TI-2009 upgrade as proof when installing TI-2010 upgrade. The serial number that you enter is 71 characters, which includes the hyphens, for TrueImage 2009 and 2010.
If the prompt says license number that should be changed by Acronis to read serial number for consistency.

Thanks Bruce. I am under the impression that I can find the licence/serial numbers on the Acronis website and if so where and how? The sort of number I am looking for is, for example:
xxxxxxxx-yyyyyyyy-zzzzzzzz-oooooooo-jjjjjjjj-kkkkkkkk-cccccccc-ffffffff
I am ugrading from TrueImage2009 to 2010. I have the 2010 number but as I uninstalled 2009 I am unsure what the number is. I have a note of two numbers and I don't know which one it is. Yes, I can try one and if it does not work I can try the other but I still would like to know if all the licence/serial numbers of the software I have bought from Acronis are available on the website and if so where.

Please edit your last message to remove the serial number. Posting an actual serial is not professionally appropriate and there could be some legal issues with improper use also, don't know.

Did you register both 2009 and 2010 purchases? Try this link: https://www.acronis.com/my/products/index.html

I made up the serial number shown in this forum! However, as requested, I have edited it so that it clearly is not a real number.
I registered all the versions that I have bought. The problem of obtaining the serial numbers has now been solved by using Fiefox rather than Internet Explorer 8.

That's really strange. No doubt that's a security 'enhancement' in IE8, safe but not functional, therefore safe. Have not heard of this before. Thanks for the update about the serial number issue. You've done everything right. Please let us know if any other issues exist. There are are many other folks here that can help and are happy to do so. When writing about an issue please provide the best background information that you can about your PC/Configuration/Win Version/Language/Etc. This is important in diagnosing the issue.
