I hope this is in the right section.
I have Exchange Backup & Recovery set up on our server. It is currently set to create a Full backup once a week (on Sundays) and Incrementials on the other days of the weeks. This works great and hasn't caused any issues yet. The problem I am having is the Clean-Up task. I used the Clean-Up wizard to create the task. I set it to use GFS scheme, the problem no is that it has been over 5 weeks since I have set all this up and the even though the Clean-Up task has ran it has not removed any of the older backups.
Did I miss something? If you need more information please let me know.

Let's sort this issue out. How exactly have you specified the backup task itself? What is the source and destination of this task?
Could you please let me know the build number of the product, which you can find in the Help -> About dialog (it should be a 3 or 4 digit number)?
Does this folder (you're trying to clean up) contain CDP full backup?
Could you please provide me with the exact sequence of actions that lead to the issue you report, so that I can try to reproduce it?
