hi.
I have a toshiba 3 tb hd installed with prof acronis 2013 under xp prof , partitioned into 2 tb and 746 gb and both formatted partitions. No quick format . I copy data on the 2 tb and retrieve all data sucessfull .
But when I query the disk status will appear in the 2tb partition in the green bar , a little red circle with an x in it.
The hd is primary and ntfs . and works probably
What is this red x circle for ?
Thanks and greetings
tom

Thomas,

Yes, I have seen it. I think the problem is that XP cannot see 3TB drives natively, try activating the Acronis Extended Capacity Manager, the red circle should then disappear.

That symbol means the partition has errors.  My experience is that the errors have to be cleared before you can get a good copy.
