Any new beta builds available for users willing to evaluate?

Not going into details, but currently, we're running two separate servers at the moment to work around the bugs in the 749/755 (mostly due to SSD/M.2 issues or image-compatibility issues already mentioned here in the forum.)
I'm just wondering - and I'm sure others would appreciate knowing: are there other builds past 755 that we can try?
Would it be possible for the moderator to post beta-build download links as they come out?

Hello Everyone,
If you want to get an early access to the custom build, I'd recommend raising a support ticket for a particular issue you're having on the current installation and ask the support engineer to send you an updated version once it's available.
Thank you,

I am wondering if there have been any further builds made available since posting this request. Our support has expired due to our company choosing not to renew until some of the current issues are corrected. Sadly, this also means I can not contact support for an early access build.
If there's a recent build that will correct our intermittent issues, I will push to renew immediately.

Hello CBC-KC,
Here the most up to date build 1761 https://access.acronis.com/t/p2id4bmf (can upload in a different language on demand).
Note: all builds higher than 1749 do not support archive created with this version, because the mechanism of archive creation has changed. Images created with 1749 still could be deployed with a standalone utility.

Perfect! I'll give this a try... and, I'm sure others appreciate this as well.

I haven't had a change to try this yet, but I do have a couple of questions:
- Is there a change-log available?
- Now that the mechanism has changed, is it safe to assume that images built with 1761 will remain compatible with future builds?
Thanks again!

I've clarified your questions:
1. The main fix in this build is for "Deployment of image of UEFI machine to the same machine fails with error "Internal error: write outside of allowed area". No information about other changes, probably some minor improvements.
2. Yes! New images will be compatible with the upcoming builds.

Just a quick note that - so far - this build has been working properly (apart from the known image compatibility issue.)
Thanks again!

Will build 1761 deploy images created with prior builds, specifically 1749 and 1755?
There was an issue with build 1755 where it would not deploy images created by build 1749.

Hello nvdev,
1755 images - yes, but not 1749. The reason is that 1749 and earlier builds used to support archives created with Acronis Backup products and this support has been removed starting with the build 1755. As the result, 1755 and newer versions may fail to properly handle images created with the older algorithm.

This is of great concern to us as we have a large number of 1749 images, as that was the version we standardized on when we bought our site license (it was the latest official build at the time). What does this mean for compatibility going forward for Acronis. Will future versions not accept images from older version of Snap Deploy like 3 and 4 as well?
We filed a ticket on this and was told that the next official update (Snap Deploy 5 Update 4?) will bring back compatibility with all previous images including 1749 and 1755, as well as previous version of Snap Deploy. This is incredibly frustrating to us as management is inquiring why we are hesitant with continuing to migrate to Acronis.

Nvdev, we went ahead and bit the bullet and converted our images over to 1761. This was a bit of a task, but well worth it in order to regain useablity - plus, with the speed of SnapDeploy, it didn't take too long. YMMV
However, you bring up a very good point:
"...was told that the next official update (Snap Deploy 5 Update 4?) will bring back compatibility with all previous images including 1749 and 1755, as well as previous version of Snap Deploy."
Ekaterina Surkova, can we get some clarification on this? I am under the impression that everything post 1755 will be compatible, but nothing prior.

Clarified your question - all non-release builds (1755, 1761 and higher if any) will have no cross-archive compatibility with 11.7 and older images from 1749. Support of 11.7 archives has been removed as workaround to resolve another issue. A new officially released build will again have full compatibility with all previous images and archives created with other Acronis products.

I'll echo CBC-KC's response. 1761 is working really well for us. It resolved a lot of our issues and problems with Acronis SD5.
Here is highlights from us:
-It is backwards compatible with 1755, at least with our images. We tested a bunch of them and they deployed just fine. Since most of our images are 1755, this works for us.
-It fixed the UEFI deployment issues, even when deploying our1755 images (we didn't need to recapture in 1761).
So far, 1761 has been a solid release for us and speaking honestly is what we were expecting when we migrated to Acronis.

Hello.
Would it be possible to download the v1761 version in French?
We are currently running v1749
Thank you for your help.
I just saw that v1780 French was available!

Hello Bruno2992,
Unfortunately, no French localization for this custom build. I'd recommend waiting for the next official update, that will include all fixes from 1761 and some new enhancements. 1780 contains only some specific minor security updates and no fixes that are already available in 1761, so better to stay on 1761 for now.

So I'm having an issue deploying to "newer" motherboards. Everytime I boot to the PXE it gets stuck on "downloading NBP file" and gets stuck there. I was on the phone with support this morning for over an hour and a half and was chalked up to "it's a setting on the motherboard". Now I see this and makes me wonder if that's actually the case or not. I was told there wasn't anything higher than 5.0.1,755 but I see you've posted the link for 1761. I'd just like to be able to use Snap deploy for our newer machines...

Hello Matt,
Thank you for your posting! I'd suggest installing 1761 anyway, as it is a more recent non-official build. Make sure, all Acronis components are on the same build 1761. Create a new master image. Then create a WinPE-based bootable media (based on Windows PE environment it provides better compatibility with various kinds of hardware), upload it to the PXE Server and re-attempt the deployment. Let us know the results.

I thought I'd dig up this old post.
We'll be deploying new Surface Laptop 3 and Surface Pro X units very soon. I'm sure it will be helpful to have the "latest and greatest." Looking for versions post 5.0.1971.
Thanks!

Hello CBC-KC!
just checked - looks there are no pre-release builds we'd recommend to install instead of the official 1971, so it's better to stay on 1971 for now
