Plus Pack - WinPE ISO Builder Fails.

On my Windows7 Professional X64 Desktop:
1) Installed the Windows AIK 3.0 precisely as Acronis describes.
2) Used the "copype.cmd x86 c:\winpe_x86"to create c:\winpe_x86.
3) Ran the Plus Pack ISO Builder and selected c:\winpe_x86\ISO as directed.
When asked to proceed, I immediately get the message: "Error occurred while creating the image" (See attachment).
Anybody know how to troubleshoot this? The error message is useless.
I have reinstalled AIK, Plus Pack 2012, all to no avail. BTW, Same problem in ATIH 2013.
Thanks in Advance.

I use Win7 and Win 8 64 bit editions. I do not have this problem with either. When you open the Deployment Tools command prompt, do you open it using the "Run as Administrator" option? Try running the Acronis WinPE ISO Builder using the "Run as Administrator" option also.

Thanks!! Didn't try running as administrator initialy. I still get the same error when trying as administrator. I did notice one slight difference, though.... When I was first installing the Microsoft AIK 3.0 on my Win7-64 system, I tried to install the dot Net Framework 2.0 from the CD, but got the message that it was already installed as part of the Operating System, so the installation exited. XML Parser and AIK installed OK. Maybe that has something to do with the issue. Interesting that if I go to Control Panel, Programs, I do not see dot Net 2.0 listed as an installed program. Only the dot net 4 client.
As long as I can build the WinPE WIM and ISO under XP in a VM, I'm ok though. I was able to create customized WinPE Boot CD and USB with proper network drivers for both 2012 and 2013 and it works fine. Just can't do it under Win7-64. I also have a Pre-release Win8-64 on a Laptop. I'll try the whole process there as well when I have some time to spare.

On Windows 7 and Windows 8 .Net 2.0 is included with the .Net 3.5.1 preinstalled on both operating systems. It must be turned on in the Add or Remove Programs // Turn Windows Features On/Off. I'm not sure if that is your problem, but check anyway. I needed .Net 2.0 for something else, and had to turn it on in my system. This was done long before installing Windows AIK for Windows 7, so I am not sure how that would have affected the installation or results.
