Hello FlyingHorse,

Thank you for your post. I will definitely help you with this issue.

As you mentioned correctly, this is a warning message and it does not affect backup creation.

This warning is caused by corrupt certificates which are responsible for connectivity, I cannot tell you yet the reason they got corrupted due to lack of information.

The DiskBundle.dll is a .dll file residing on the agent side and it is used for backups.

I can suggest the following fix to resolve this problem.

On the computer with the agent, launch the command prompt (start-run-cmd) and navigate to the following directory: cd C:\Program Files\Common Files x86\Acronis\Utils

Issue this command: acroniscert.exe --reinstall and press enter.

Then, restart all of the Acronis services on the agent machine (start-run-services.msc) and I believe this issue will be resolved.

If this still fails to work, please submit a support case with 2 sets of AcronisInfo logs, from the Management Console Machine and the agent machine, and ask for the case to get escalated to our Expert team.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

Thank you for your suggestion. I did as you instructed and the problem persists. I am in contact with technical no-support and they are supposed to have escalated this issue to Tier-2 (whatever that means).

I am not hopeful.

Hello FlyingHorse,

I have some additional information regarding this issue that can help our forum community.

Our Expert support engineer has taken over your case and offered you with a workaround to change the type of encryption in the backup e-mail notification settings.  We will definitely work on this issue to get this problem resolved.

This warning message is caused by the fact that SMTP server's SSL certificate did not pass authentication, and may not be valid when setting up e-mail notification with the SSL encryption enabled.

We have more information about this warning message in this new Knowledge Base article - Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Shows Warning Message in Log "The certificate is not valid."

Please let me know if you need additional assistance.

Thank you.

I have the same problem to the one listed here. I am running Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Advanced Server - Small Business Server Edition.

I have tried the suggested solution and still get the warnings. My backups are completing successfully but how do I get rid of the warnings?
