After ATI 2017 purchase, no way to add cloud storage

I recently ordered a 3-computer one-time-purchase license to ATI 2017 at the discounted price. At the time of purchase, there was no option to add cloud storage for an additional monthly fee. On my account page, there is a Buy More option under the Acronis Cloud Storage section, but when I click it, I'm taken to the ATI 2017 order page instead of a Cloud Storage order form. Is there really no way to add monthly Cloud Storage to a one-time purchase of ATI 2017?

I have a cloud subscription and the same thing happens to me. No way I can see to increase the cloud storage (at the moment). So time back I stubled on an option to increase cloud storage but I cannot find it now.
You should confirm with Acronis technical support if you can add cloud backup to one-off purachase rather than a subscritpion.

You can buy storage with the perpetual licenses. Ekaterina posted it somewhere in the forums before, but I can't find it. It's listed in the KB though. Basically, you get the perpetual license, but no option to automatically upgrade to major version releases (like you can with a Cloud Subscritpion). However, with the perpetual license, it's good forever, whereas the subscription must be renewed to keep using the product.
Just contact technical support to purchase storage space and work with them if interested.

Acronis Cloud Storage Licenses
Additionally, you can purchase a quota for Acronis Cloud Storage. Having cloud storage unlocks additional features like storing your backups and archived data in cloud and accessing and sharing this data from anywhere anytime, as well as keeping your social networks content (photos, videos, liked pages and much more) safe by backing up your Facebook accounts.

Nope, according to Acronis product support, no cloud storage for one-time purchase ATI 2017 licensees:
Thank you for contacting Acronis Customer Central.
I see that you have purchased Acronis True Image 2017 for 3 computers perpetual license. We cannot add Cloud storage or use Acronis Cloud storage for perpetual license. Perpetual license is used to create backup only to internal drives, external drives, NAS drives etc. Subscription license is used to create backup to Acronis Cloud. Please let me know if you want to purchase Subscription license so that I will process you the refund for the perpetual license.

Ekaterina Surkova wrote:Hi Andrey,
Thank you for your interest in Acronis software! If you want to use Cloud storage along with a 1-time purchase license, it's now possible! This options is not available on the web-site, however if you obtain a 1-time purchase license, you'll be able to add the Cloud storage from the Acronis Store built in the application. You can also upgrade your license to apply on more machines if needed (e.g. you had Acronis True Image for 1 PC and now want to expend it to 3 PCs)
Thank you,

I got a different story from chat. The process for adding storage is a bit convoluted, but easy enough:
1) Login to Acronis account
2) Click on Buy more option
3) Choose 1 PC and click on 1-year subscription and add Acronis cloud storage (250,500 GB etc)
4) Click on Proceed to checkout
5) Click Remove under Acronis True Image subscription license and you will get only Acronis Cloud Storage added earlier
6) Enter the payment details and purchase it.
When you get the invoice it says that it is stated:
Requires Acronis True Image 2017 (or earlier version of Acronis True Image).
If you wish you can choose a two year subscription rather than a one year subscription. In Australia 2 year 500 gig cloud subscription is currently less than AU$30.

Thanks for posting that, Ian. I've been trying to figure out how to add cloud ahead of the expiration on my perputual license for a couple of days. I would have liked to add only 50GB but that wasn't an option so I added 250GB. At 9.99 US for the year it's a pretty good deal.
