Acronis Bootable Media Builder - crashes when browsing for a file

Thread needs solution

Using Acronis Bootable Media Builder on Windows 10 build 20H2.

When I want to either pick where to save an output ISO file, pick a file with product keys to import or pick drivers to add to the bootable media, the program hangs for a few seconds and just closes without notice.

Event Viewer suggests a faulty module to be MSVCR80.dll, exception code 0xc0000005. Exported event attached (mind the extension, couldn't upload evtx files).

Any suggestions on how to deal with this problem?

Hello MR,

Welcome to Acronis forums!

This issue requires technical investigation. However, since the end of support for Acronis Backup 11.7 this will not be investigated.

Thus, I recommend that you check whether you use the most current update available in your account to ensure your Acronis Backup is up-to-date.

If your build of Acronis Backup 11.7 is the latest one, then we can recommend upgrading to the next version: Acronis Cyber Backup 15.
