Cannot reinstall error (Acronis 11.7)
This is a symptom of my client.
OS : Windows 2016 Server
Acronis Version : Acronis 11.7
Install item :
Acronis Backup 11.7 Agent Core
Acronis Backup 11.7 Agent for Windows
They deleted Acronis 11.7 long ago.
And they tried to reinstall it some time ago.
But they could not do it.
Because during the process of installing "Acronis Backup 11.7 Agent Core", the following error message appeared.
Failed to write value "ServiceProcessProtocolVersion" to key "\Software\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\CommonComponents\ServiceProcess\Settings". Verify that you have sufficient access to that key or contact your customer support representative.
Their PC is the same environment as when Acronis 11.7 was previously installed.
The account that attempted the installation is the same as before. (Admin account)
What should I try?
