Globally enable Windows Event logging

Thread solved

Hi,

We want to monitor Acronis Backup with the Windows Event logs but we have to manually enable this for all the plans. Is it not possible to globally enable Windows Event logging for all configured and/or new plans?

Kind regards,

Edwin de Jonge

Hello Edwin,

thanks for posting on Acronis forums!

The Windows event log option is available in Backup option and Recovery options .

We recommend that you monitor Acronis Backup 12.5 with monitoring tools available in the Overview section of the console.

Edwin,

we recommend that you use Default backup options which are common for all backup plans on the management server.

Hi Maria,

Yes I know it is possible to review this in the overview section but we also have a external monitoring system that creates a ticket in case something fails in the backup. This could be done by monitoring for specific Eventlogs that Acronis Backup creates .. but the Event logging is disabled by default .. so is there a way to globally enable this for all the plans and enable it by default when we create a new plan .. or run a recovery.

Kind regards, Edwin
