Is it possible to add second NIC to All-in-one Acronis Appliance? When I create empty VM with 2 NIC's and then boot it from iso provided in AcronisBackup_all-in-One_Appliance.zip after installation on initial setup screen when I go to 'change settings'-'network settings' - it only allows to set static IP on NIC eth0.

Hi,

Acronis Backup All-In-One appliance runs CentOS 7 operating system inside which can be managed like any other CentOS installation, so you can add a new NIC to appliance VM after initial setup of the appliance via vSphere client and then configure this NIC parameters from command line interface by opening the appliance VM console which allows you to get there (or open console in Cockpit interface): https://www.tecmint.com/set-add-static-ip-address-in-linux/ - you will need to edit the "/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1" file with IP settings for new NIC.

In future versions of Acronis Backup we are planning to allow configuration of multiple NIC devices during initial setup stage, but currently only 1 NIC can be configured (internal feature ID: ABR-155126).

Thank you.

Thanks Vasily,

ifcfg-eth1 was not present, but once it was created and filled with IP settings both NIC's work.
