Hello all,

Can someone help me in case of Backing up MS Exchange 2013 CAS & Mailbox.

I have been doing backups for MS Exchange CAS & Mailbox, CAS and Mailbox which is located on the Hyper-V VM 's. CAS and Mailbox each on a different Hyper-V VM 's. Once I finished run backups CAS, there is an error. OS that I'm use is Windows Server 2003 R2.
Can someone explain in detail what should I do for Backup & Recovery CAS & Mailbox ?

Hello Ekaterina,

Backup MS Exchange Mailboxes are succesfully run and no error.

But now MS Exchange CAS has some error while backup job is running.

Here the error message:

Hello Septyan,

Thank you for additional information! According to the error message the snapshot creation fails due to the Microsoft Hyper-V VSS Writer not functioning correctly. To troubleshoot the issue please follow instructions from the following article. The article also provides some background information on the Volume Shadow Copy services. If the issue persists, I'd recommend to raise a support ticket for the more indepth investigation.
