Errors while running Backup

So far, I've tried deleting and making a new storage node, and still have that particular error. Below is a copy from the error details:

Is machine with Storage Node accessible from the agent that performs backup? The error points to some connectivity problem. Try to connect using telnet to the Storage Node machine on the port 9876.

Running the telnet with port 9876, it doesn't appear to be responding. Also, I can't seem to get it to respond with the network name, only the IP address (not port 9876 still).

I installed acronis on my server and installed the client on my PCs but when i do a back up from my server one of my PC its successful, but for the other it reports an error even when i enable the rights to access the mms.exe file and I disabled the firewall, what should i do so that i can make a backup for my other PC?

Hi Mathew,

The error you quote states that the centralized vault cannot be accessed from the backup agent due to authentication problem. To troubleshoot the issue first of all try connecting to the problematic backup agent directly from the management console (instead of setting up centralized backup plan from Acronis Management Server connection) and create backup task from there to see if the centralized vault can be properly accessed. If this doesn't help then contact our support team for further assistance.
