Acronis and Small Business Server 2011

Anyone got an answer to this?

I have 5-7 customers with SBS2011 in order, and i want to use Acronis Backup and Recovery SBS edition and Online product on all of these server cases.

Unfortunately we haven't updated and haven't tested the product with SBS2011 yet, so we cannot guarantee that the product will work stably without any issues.

I have forwarded an update request to the Development team, so hopefully we will have the product tested and modified to work in the specified environment.

Any progress on this issue. I have to update to SBS 2011 and need to know if Acronis will work with it.

I have a copy of SBS2011, all I can tell you is that the workstation edition of ABR10 won't install on it - probably as expected.

I have the SBS edition of ABR10 working on SBS 2008, and need to upgrade to SBS 2011. So wanted to check if SBS for ABR10 is working on SBS 2011.

I have managed to get ABR10 Workstation to load onto SBS2011 RC (Azure). However as I don't have a server serial number I can't do any further testing for you.

If it is of any help DD11 Advanced Server (for which I do have a licence) works OK.

Yes SBS edition works fine with no Issues so far. has been running on RTM version since end of December 2010

Thanks. Acronis also states it works fine with SBS 2011 but SBS 2011 is not officially supported yet.

Have anyone tried to restore backups to Exchange 2010 and other files?

We just released a new article about Small Business Server 2011 - Acronis Products Do Not Support Windows Small Business Server 2011. You can keep an eye on this article because we will update it as soon as such support is implemented.

As for Exchange 2010 when using ABR10 there should not be any problems because VSS is used. However, Acronis Recovery for Ms Exchange which is another Acronis product does not support Exchange 2010 at the moment.
