Hello Neelu,

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad to greet you here! Thank you for finding time to open the thread regarding this question, I will be glad to address it.

I regret to inform you that officially these platforms are not supported, as we haven't tested our products on it, and cannot guarantee that it will work. Please also note that the product depends on the OS installed as well, and as far as I'm concerned, full Windows OS fo this hardware is currently in production.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

I bought Acronis True Image 2021 today for my Microsoft Surface Pro X.  The installation fails.  I have tried a few ideas but still failure.  I assume that Acronis products will not install in the Surface Pro X.

Since I believe in backups, does anyone know of any other backup products that might work on this Microsoft machine?

Thanks

Bruce

Hello Bruce,

thank you for your posting! yes, ARM/ARM64 processors are currently not supported by Acronis products  https://kb.acronis.com/content/62562

However, devices with the above listed CPU or unsupported operating systems still can be used for:

  1. storing backups, if the file system is supported (WindowsMac)
  2. file/folder backup operations, if accessed as a network share
  3. file/folder and disk/partition backup operations, if plugged into an internal port or attached with internal or external cable, and the file system is supported (WindowsMac). Data consistency and OS bootability upon recovery is still guaranteed only for supported OS.
