ESXi Configuration Backup - Network Disconnected

Hi Everyone,

Tried to create a task earlier to backup our ESXi Hosts and we are receieving several error warnings. The backup gets to about 60% and then fails with the following warnings:

I have attached the full log to this post.

The hosts are definitely accessible and there is no problem with authentication.

If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Gary,

According to the log file the \\172.16.254.148\ share became inaccessible on 4th of Apr. while it worked on previous days. The error is a standard Windows API one: "The network name cannot be found", so likely something happened during the day which caused network connection failure to this share, while connection to other network resources (e.g. ESXi host) was Ok. You should first of all check whether this share can be accessed via Windows explorer from the machine where you have Acronis Backup for VMware installed (Windows Agent) - if there are problems with it then you can try resetting network connections via rebooting this machine for example. If this doesn't help then try backing up to some different network share or to local folder on the machine where you have Acronis Backup for VMware installed (Windows Agent) to further localize the issue.
