Need help with backup failed (acronis for vmware)

Hello,

We have Acronis for Vmware and our backup is failing with logs below. How do I interpret as to what's going on and why it's failing just by looking at the logs below. Is there a tool or something to interpret these logs. I want to be independent in troubleshooting in Acronis backup failure and don't want have to reach out for help for every failure. Thanks so much for your time and help. Appreciate

Acronis - where do I go for help?  i dont have an active support membership and I am stuck. Please help, someone.

Hello Samir,

thank you for your posting! I'm afraid there is no tool that could help to interpret our log files, bu I'll try to help you find the root cause for the issue.

The error message you receive is rather generic, so to localize the issue we'd need more details on your environment:

- ESX version
- Acronis product version (build) which is in use
- is Application-aware backup enabled in the backup plan? If yes, what MS applications are protected (Exchange, SQL, AD)?
- Does the issue occur to one particular VM or to multiple VMs? 

Could you also attach the whole operation log to this thread (Click Show logs in the View tab of the Acronis Backup for VMware main ribbon menu to open the Logs page. Then find the log from the failing operation and click Save to File
