Hello!

I have a problem of occupation, the TIP file occupies 1,7TB and we need clean copy, I looked restore points and they do not add that occupation,

I added the task of copies that had not activated the simple scheme of cleaning andcleaning schedule GFS and tib file does not change the size, I have also enabled the maximum compression was not activated, nor is down.

I Attach captures the occupation of the VM

Thank you.

Hi,

I don't know excactly if it works when you activate Backup Cleanup afterwards. You can try creating a new backup having GFS enabled.

Also check the files directly in you backup location for size or files which are not used/not belong to backups. Your picture shows 94% is used by backups, maybe it is incorrect.

Thanks for your reply Raphael, the problem is that I have no space for a new copy, I want to clear the current copy but not how.

Here is a hint from Vasily in his post to compact the TIB filesize when using a second destination: http://forum.acronis.com/forum/40150#comment-125896

I can confirm it works, but you need free space, at least 233GB for your secondy machine backup at second location.

Antonio,

The guidance from Raphael is correct one - you need to use the 2nd destination feature to generate a new archive whic won't consume 1.6TB, but will take only real data size from your current archive. To get there you would still need some free space.

Note that you while you don't have additional storage space your backup tasks may still continue into this existing huge 1.6TB archive, since according to the screen shots there is a lot of free space inside it (resulted after cleaning up older recovery points), so it won't grow. This may give you some time to find storage which will allow you to migrate to new reduced size archive via 2nd destination.

Thank you.
