unable to backup Esxi 5.0 host

Hi, I have a Vsphere 5.0 essential plus cluster with 3 Esxi nodes.
I can't backup the configuration of the third node (node 3 has different hardware with respect of the other 2 nodes).
host3 status is up and running, but one hard disk says:" smart error" but seems to be not critical (you know, Smart is a "predictive" system)
I received this error message:

Hi,

This error indicates that the content of some service partition of the ESXi host could not be packed into .tar due to I/O error. It's not clear from the error which exact partition is causing the problem (could be bootbank or altbootbank or something else), so it makes sense to contact our support team for further investigation of the problem. Before contacting our support team please collect ESXi system logs (from vSphere client File->Export->Export System Logs) and/or if your ESXi is running from flash drive capture an image of this flash drive (via dd or similar tool), so that we can check it.
