Acronis Management Service is not running (and is missing from services.msc)

When I attempt to login to the Management Console, I get an error that states "Acronis Management service is not running."

I checked Services.msc and Acronis Management Service is not listed at all. I have:

Acronis Active Protection Service (Disabled)

Acronis Managed Machine Service

Acronis Monitoring Service

Acronis Removable Storage Management Service

Acronis Scheduler2 Service

Acronis Service Manager Serice

Acronis ZeroMQ Gateway Service

If I run c:\program Files\Acronis\AMS\managementserver.exe, I see a Command Prompt window, but the service does not start.

I checked the following KB article: https://kb.acronis.com/content/60085 To ensure I had all the services running as the correct users. All looks good (except for the fact that Acronis Management Service is not listed).

There have been no changes to firewalls or antivirus since.

This occurred after I had to reinstall Acronis on my server. After reinstalling I had to add my Acronis admin user back to the Acronis Centralized Admins and set Acronis Service Management Server to login as AMS User. I verified that my AMS users had full control to the %PROGRAMDATA%\Acronis folder (though I received an error when applying security to masterkey.local: Failed to Enumerate Objects in the container. Access is denied.)

I have tried to repair, modify, and uninstall to reinstall later. Each time it tells me it failed. I have attached the most recent log here.

Hello Maria,

I have carefully followed all the steps in that article and I see the same message. "The Acronis Management Server service is currently stopped." It has a link to KB article 61480. I am attempting to collect the logs requested at the bottom of the article, but the Process Monitor log is much too large to attach here and the Acronis systeminfo utility crashes before it completes.
