Hi,

I am backup using to a Synology NAS using Acronis Backup 12.5 Standard.  The backup itself appears to be working fine (well it is creating the new backup files) but when it goes to clear out the old backups, I get an error "Activity 'Deleting snapshot' failed. The credentials for '//synology1/dgzbackup/' are incorrect."

I have checked the credentials and they all appear OK and I can view the backups on the NAS from the Backup Section.  If I manually try and delete an old backup it deletes OK.

Not sure if this is a Synology or an Acronis problem but figured would check to see if anybody else is running the same system and if they have any ideas?

Synology NAS is connected via Active Directory and logged in using the admin account.  Backing up to a shared folder with full read/write permissions.

Anything else anybody can think of which I need to check?

Thanks

Dean

Hello Dean,

welcome to Acronis forums!

I recommend that you simply recreate this backup plan.

If the issue still remains, please collect Acronis System Information from the Agent which backup fails to cleanup on NAS. I have sent you a message with an FTP link for uploading your logs.
