- Ability to disable updates for antivirus and anti-malware protection definitions in Cyber Backup 15 Advanced
- Make "application aware" backups work with tape based Storage Nodes.
- When using tape based Storage Nodes add the option to use the drive's own compression instead of using Acronis software based compression.

I've discussed your requests with the RnD and here an update:
- regarding the Cyber Protection definitions update: currently it is possible to adjust schedule of the updates (the option is available in Cyber Protect edition), please refer to https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/CyberProtectionServ…
If you still want to completely disable the service, please send me a personal message and I'll provide you with the instructions.
- bring back menu entry "Plans" (without it we loose overview of all configured plans) This option is available in the Advanced edition;

- When using tape based Storage Nodes add the option to use the drive's own compression instead of using Acronis software based compression.

Its annoying to make batch Files to delete the .tibx files and then only having the option of only FULL backups
Wanna be able to have f.e. 5 drives, named Monday,Tuesday, ... which should be then recognizes as those days and then only making differential/incremental backups

Das ist auch für mich ein sehr großer Wunsch !!!!
Auch fehlt die Option Aufbewahrungsregel zu deaktivieren, wie es mir bei einer Supportanfrage geraten wurde.
In der Version 12.5 konnte ich einfach ein Backup Plan starten, dazu muß ich jetzt erst auf bearbeiten, speichern und dann kann ich ihn erst starten. Das ist viel zu umständlich. Bitte wieder wie in der alten version.
Bei einer Konvertierung zu Hyperv werden alle VMS in einen Ordner gespeichert, bitte einzelne Ordner pro VM!

I personally use Acronis and think it is really a good product~
Our company mainly sells Acronis and cloud products. At present, our cloud products are mainly oracle cloud infrastructure (OCI).
We would like to suggest that we hope that the acronis backup engine and gui portal/ cloud storage / disaster recovery / can be installed on the oracle cloud infrastructure (OCI). I don’t know if there is a chance in this part.

Thank you, added your vote for the new integration with the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform. The internal ID for reference is /RM-1711 Oracle Cloud VM agent-based backup.

Well I need a possibility for word based search on each list (activities, plans etc which allows you to show only the entries containing the word. The predefined filters are incomplete (i.e. no filter for replication in activity types) and do not cover situations like "I wish to see all occurences of the plan xyz in activity log".

Hello,
I am using Cyber Protect and wonder if there is a way to Edit the devices name? Maybe give it an Alias. As a lot of our devices use the same Computer Name across different sites. Therefore, when installing an agent, the only way to differentiate our devices is to put its store location in its details. If there isn't a current way to do this, than I hope this will be a feature soon.

Hey, let me shortly think about my wihslist....
oh yes I got it... My biggest wish would be an "acronis cyber protect 15" backup system that reliably creates planed backups of our servers, systems, databases, dag's .... It would also be nice if not every update lead to further or new problems. Ahh and I don't know if it has already been said, but if it's not too much maybe a support who doesn't sit out issues with mayor impacts for months
With this ideas maybe everyone could trust this "backup product" again....

I agree with you Jens.
Every update leads to more undocumented issues. Also, features that used to work are all of a sudden either removed or broken.
Raising issues with support gets you nowhere. It takes months of collecting logs and going back and forth with no significant troubleshooting or resolution. In the meantime we are forced to find our own solutions or work-arounds.
Makes it a bit hard to sell the product when you cannot trust it. When it works, it works well..... but the confidence is not there that it will keep working

I agree with you Jens.

thank you for your confirmation! So I don't feel alone with the problems. By the way the answer from "Daria Sorokina" is nothing more than empty words....
Off course the support wrote to us again but.... Only to say us to uninstall Acronis, use their cleaning tool and install again (create all backup task and so on)... Fun Fact. We have reinstall the whole Server bevor the issue was come up.... This detail the Support successful ignore. There we are. We have uninstall Acronis and use the Cleaning tool for nothing than the same issue. Communication is frozen again.
Since May 5, 2022 they work an solution.

du kannst doch ohne den Umweg über bearbeiten direkt die Pläne starten.
Für einzelne Geräte: Gerät auswählen > Schützen
Dann entweder direkt auf das Play-Symbol oder aufklappen und Jetzt ausführen (dort hast du auch die Auswahl zwischen Voll, Inkrementell, Differenziell)
Ganze Pläne: Plan auswählen > Details
Dort ebenfalls wie oben beschrieben die Möglichkeiten
Ist es das, was du suchst?

I try it after some time again:
- Bring back the WakeOnLan Feature or a Feature where the machine that must run a backup task wakes up itself
- Give an option to clean the activities list manually and remove entries
- give an option to Export the Application Settings as after a Reinstall everything must be done manually
- the daily recap mail does not handle the daylight saving time correctly. I opened tickets that were only said that they will be addressed...until now not happened.

Well.... 2 years have passed and still nothing.
I found a competitors software that can do application aware backup and restore jobs to/from tape without needing intermediate disk stages. I'd stick to Acronis if that was added to V15 but I don't have any hopes of it ever happening TBH. Shame because as an old user I have a perpetual license.

I would like to have opportunity to configure email notifications for Backup replication jobs.
System settings includes configuration only for main backup plans.
There is a similar theme about email notifications for Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5 forum, but 2 years have passed since last comment and still nothing.
