Hello to everybody,

I just realized that many problems come from the no space left on the OS volume.

I'm speaking about the Acronis Cyber Protect 15.0.4256 (console) 15.0.26172 (server) that is installed as appliance and that it made a VM (vmware) machine based on CentOS. I found a post of Genreb Rodaje in this forum (I'm sorry I'm unable to post any links)  that helped me to solve the problem "bad gateway" opening the server console even if it was speaking about the 12.5 version. The "bad gateway" is one of many problems that I'm getting (in true not me but my customer); it is the last but not the only one.

Analizing the file system with the linux command line "du -sch /* --exclude=home", I found that the folder \var\log\Acronis\AtpAlertsFeedManager taken 15GB of space. I manually deleted many of the lofg files and after I rebooted the vm machine. On this way I solved the "bad gateway" problem and now I can see the Overview page into Dashboard too (it showed a blank page before). It seems that the backups are faster too.

So the question is: "Is there a tip&trick to automatically delete these old log files?"

Thanks

Michele

Hello Michele,

Welcome to Acronis forums!

Here is this forum thread you are referring to: https://forum.acronis.com/forum/acronis-cyber-backup-125/acronis-backup-125-failed-access-acronis-web-console-due-bad-gateway

So the question is: "Is there a tip&trick to automatically delete these old log files?"

Hello Belinskaya,

really many thanks for your reply. The KB no.68544 doesn't solve the problem definitely. It is like an one-shot solution, I think. In true I was referring to the log files saved on the /var/lib/Acronis/AtpAlertFeedManager. I was insiped by the original post that you posted the link, because the "du" command line to find the biggest directory. Now I have 24GB of files in /var/lib/Acronis/AtpDatabaseMirror folder and I'm going to run the dbm-cleanup procedure but I'm looking for something that is "automatic". Does the new version solve this problem? The virtual machine has 8GB of RAM and the size of the filesystems are in the original size (1+1+40GB).

Thanks again
Ciao!

Hello,
I follow the KB68544 but the dbm-cleanup.py returns an error "Failed to open config file atp_database_mirror.json: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'atp_database_mirror.json'. How can I fix it?
Thanks

Michele
