Uninstalling Disk Director 11 on Win 8.1
I have a minor problem that is causing me some annoyance, and I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas.
Some time ago I upgraded from Disk Director 11 to Disk Director 12. However, Disk Director 11 remains in my Add/Remove Programs list, and attempting to uninstall it gives me the error "E000101F4: Acronis OS Selector has not found any hard disk drives."
I've attempted to use the Disk Director cleanup utility, but it wont run on Win 8.1 (64 bit). I'd really just like to make sure 11 is completely removed from my computer, but I can't figure out any way to remove it.
Any help would be appreciated!
Please follow these recommendation on how to remove the product: https://kb.acronis.com/content/40366
First of all please start the full installation file (executable) and choose the option to remove the product. If the steps above do not lead to the full product removal, please use the Microsoft FixIt tool. Choose the I want to uninstall a product option.
Please be aware that Acronis Disk Director 11 Home does not support Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10: https://kb.acronis.com/content/11341
The article at <https://kb.acronis.com/content/40366> seems to refer only to various versions of Acronis True Image, not to Acronis Disk Director.
I have ATI 2016 installed, but I do not wish to remove it.
Could you please expand on your instructions for removal of ADD 11? It was on my Win 7 machine when I upgraded to Win 10, so of course ADD 11 doesn't work.
