acronis disk monitor blue screens system

I'm trying out Acronis Disk Monitor on a Dell XPS 15 9570 running build 1809, x64. Shortly after installing it, the machine blue screens with an error in the iaStor.sys driver. Uninstalling it and the blue screen goes away. It's easy to reproduce.

Please note, that Acronis Drive Monitor has not been updated for a long time and thus has a limited OS support:

  • Windows XP (including x64 editions) 
  • Windows Server 2003 (including x64 editions)
  • SBS 2003 (all releases)
  • Windows Server 2008 (including x64 editions)
  • SBS 2008 (all releases)
  • Windows Vista (all editions)
  • Windows 7 (all editions)

If you are interested in monitoring larger infrastructures, I'd recommend giving a shot to Acronis Monitoring Service.
