bug: Attempting to reduce ADM tasks' system impact and run frequency (TimeInterval vs RepeatInterval)

Setting TimeInterval bug from command prompt; set TimeInterval=21600 gives an interval of 5100?
Where is there documentation on the subcommands shown by set help?

ADM was interferring with my programming and debugging by consuming much too much CPU time frequently. Using the schedmgr tool (http://kb.acronis.com/content/1859), I found four tasks created by ADM. This system is XP SP3 and I'm logged in as an administrator.

User 2 (NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM):
2-4 *AdmInvoker* *AdmInvoker* email_notifications
2-5 *AdmInvoker*
2-6 *AdmInvoker* *AdmInvoker* update_winlog
2-7 *AdmInvoker* *AdmInvoker* refresh_backups

Typing "task 2-7 " selects that task and the command prompt changes to reflect that. the "get report" command will show you the repeat interval which appears to be in seconds.

The TimeInterval line below seems to be in seconds and influences how frequently within the schedule period (daily between 0:00:00 and 23:59:00) the tasks runs. set TimeInterval=21600 should cause the task to run four times per day (6*60*60), but instead the next reported run time is 5100 seconds from the last run time?

Ira,

Are you using build 566, which is the latest build?

Using build 566 I am also experiencing the same huge spikes. The culprit seems to be the refresh_backups tasks:

----------
Task   1-3
----------
Flags: 0x80000819 ( enabled executed time hidden local_system )
Time:  0:00:00
TimeInterval: 120
EndTime: 23:59:00
Type: daily
Begin: 28.01.2012
ExecApp: *AdmInvoker*
ExecCmd: *AdmInvoker* refresh_backups
Last changed: 28.01.2012 13:17:44
Last tried: 28.01.2012 13:24:01 as Time Normal
Last result: run on 28.01.2012 13:24:01, exited on 28.01.2012 13:24:04 with code 0
PrevSucc. result: run on 28.01.2012 13:22:01, exited on 28.01.2012 13:22:03 with code 0
Next try: 28.01.2012 13:26:00
Run counter: 20622
Guid: E8EB23E7-2D44-49CD-BDBA-301B0BD1C9E3

Using build 566, on a Windows XP SP3 system here. Now, the problem is that I have disabled the backup functionality of adm for the (single) hard disk drive of the system. So the questions here are:
1) Why is it still executing every minute or so, since this functionality is disabled for this disk and there are no other storage devices?

2) Why is this maxing out my cpu load?
