Tried reinstalling bu this did not help.

Please advise.

Hi,

Does the issue still persist? If yes, could you please collect Acronis diagnostic information from the PC in question and upload the archive with logs to our FTP server (I'll send you the link for upload in personal messages - to access PM go to My Account at the top of a forum page and then to Dialogs).

Donwload the SystemInfo utility for Acronis Ransomware Protection from the article https://kb.acronis.com/content/2707 and follow the step-by-step instructions outlined there. The gathered information will be put in systeminfo.zip file in the same folder where you placed the utility.

The same thing happened to me on Windows 7 64 bit running AVG antivirus free version. Have the devs come up with a fix yet?

build 1700 is the most up to date version of Acronis Ransomware Protection. If this build is installed, but you still encounter the issue, we could only recommend testing a free trial of Acronis True Image 2019 . In case the issue persists, you'll have access to the free technical support within the trial period (to submit a ticket go to https://www.acronis.com/support/contact-us/ and select a Trial category).
