Active Protection Question

Hi - new to this Ransomware Protection. My question is, if I Add a process as Trusted, that will mean that Ransomware Protection will NOT check that process - Am I correct ?

So, if I have, say, Thunderbird, as an email client, I should not add it in as a Trusted Application.

I am a little confused by the "Monitored" section - would I need to add Thunderbird to the Monitored Processes list ? I do not see an option to do that, or, are all programs monitored by default.

Thank You

Hello Joseph,

welcome to Acronis forums!

Yes, if you whitelist a process, the app won't report it in case any harmful operations take place

No, you don't need to add processes to the Monitored list, the app will monitor all processes on your PC (except network shares)
