Lately I have been getting many variations of FAKE microsoft warnings, ransomeware. All want $s and all provide phone numbers and a voice warning NOT to close or restart desktop. Some CAN be closed, others DO require a restart, despite the warnings. Sometimes during the restart I wait until the page has closed and the "waiting for background apps to close" page appears. At that point I can cancel the rest of the restart and return to the desktop unchanged.
I tell this story so you know what I am dealing with. These pop ups are random, system wide, NOT browser specific or web page specific. They have even appeared during a long video from YOUTUBE or other site. Very annoying. I am using an HP ELITE 8000 CMT running win7 pro 32 bit. If that helps.
I did my research but nowhere is this kind of issue mentioned for any app such as yours. I downloaded 3 apps as a test. All 3 failed to work properly. One would not install despite the correct installer, one DID install but did not allow ANY browser to open, apparently the app is too sensitive, and the third DID install but gave an error when I tried to activate it. All were FREE as is yours.
Your app DID install and as far as I can tell IS active. What I NEED to know is, will the app PREVENT these FAKE warnings from appearing? Either immediately or over time? This is the issue there is no answer for. At least I CAN open browsers and sites. So far so good. Version 1700 was installed. Please answer this question in full, accurately, and completely. If the answer is yes then I will keep it. If no I will delete it. No point in keeping it if it does not do what I want. I under stand that these warnings ARE ransomeware, exactly what your app is supposed to remove. I hope I am correct. Looking forward to your response.
