Linux Ransomware Protection
Why? Would some say. I think it's time to ask if Acronis consider to plan support Linux with Ransomware Protection.
For our Business we use a Windows Server with Acronis Backup and i like it, it works, easy to administrate,
so i won't switch to other backup software.
At Home i set up an Linux Server with a self hosted cloud platform a few years ago. Normal Backup strategy - daily and some time to disk stored at different location. For Home purposes it's enough for me.
I think of using Linux Server and self hosted cloud platform (Nextcloud) for our Business. But i am a bit scared
because of this news: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/new-nextcry-ransomware-encrypts-data-on-nextcloud-linux-servers/
and this: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Lilu-Lilocked-ransomware-has-now-infected-thousands-of-Linux-servers.434547.0.html
Are there any others concerned about Linux Ransomware and would like to see a solution from Acronis?
