Hi!
Welcome to Acronis forums! Please refer to Active Protection blocks legitimate applications article that provides information on how to whitelist trusted services.

Hello,

thank you for your answer. The instructions in the link allow you to whitelist a program just for me? I would like to whitelist a program for all Acronis users.

Is that possible?

Hi! If Acronis Active Protection reports a process as Suspicious or blocks it, this means the process either shows the ransomware-like behavior (for example modifies a lot of files in a small period of time) or the corresponding executable file does not have a valid digital signature.

If you strongly feel that the program should be whitelisted in the product, please send us a feedback with Acronis system report collected after reproducing the issue (you can use AcronisInfo Utility for collecting the log files). Please let me know, when the feedback has been sent.

Goodbye,

Thank you! I've found your feedback and see the reference to VirusTotal.

In case you want to whitelist the app in VirusTotal, you'll need to send the link directly to them via  virustotal-falsepositive@acronis.com with detailed description of why you think this detection is incorrect. For more information please refer to the article Acronis scanner at VirusTotal.com
