(!SOLVED!)"Successful" Deployment to Dell Optiplex 3020- But Windows 7 Won't Start
Last week, I deployed to a Dell OptiPlex 3010 and Windows 7 started fine, but this week, my "successful" deployment (according to the Snap Deploy "Deployment tasks" screen) to a Dell OptiPlex 3020 resulted in Windows 7 trying, but failing to start up. I was sent instead to the Windows DOS "Error Recovery" screen offering "Safe Boot", etc options.
The problem was caused by the lack of drivers in the deployment. I solved the problem by being careful in downloading the Dell 3020 driver files (ISO to exe to INF) and incorporating those INF files in the drivers I wanted carried over in the Universal Snap Deploy setup on the master machine.
