When/if Acronis fails I want to execute a bat file before Acronis tries to restart the backup, can I do that?

Gary, see the ATI 2016 User Guide: Pre/Post commands for backup that you would need to have in place before your Acronis backup task is run.

What I am not sure about is whether any Error Handling retries for a failed backup task would take place before a Post Command is executed or not?  This is something that would need to be tested.

Thanks for the reply.  I saw that section, but according to the document's notes and the wording of the Pre/Post interface, it will not be called during error processing.

I was hoping that there was a section that I had missed that addresses error handling while the process is running.  Acronis sends an error message saying it is waiting for user interaction when an error occurs.  I was hoping to tap into that section.

Gary, out of interest, what were you hoping to do via a batch file in the event of an error?
