Ludovic

Thank you for your welcoming.
When I start the PC, the PC gives a blue screen without externel HDD plugged on it... This is a soft problem because the tests on the hard are all good (processor, memory, hard disk, ...).
I have no idea to restart it without loosing all programs and data on the internal disk.

Ludovic, what information is shown on the Blue Screen - does this offer any options such as doing a Startup Repair?
What was your default BIOS boot device before you changed it to boot from the Acronis USB media? Have you changed this back to how it was before?

Steve, no option on the Blue Screen, just "Recovery".
The default BIOS boot device was the internal SSD. When I tried to restore the full disk, I changed it to the USB stick device. The restore proceed successfully but the problem seems to be saved on the external retoration disk, because the PC does not restart correctly and the Blue Screen appears again (USB stick and External HD are unplugged and the BIOS boot device is the internal SSD).
This week end, I also tried Microsoft repair proposals available on the link : https://support.microsoft.com/fr-fr/help/12415/windows-10-recovery-opti…
But without any success.
I have another Dell PC but with Windows 10 Pro and the internal SSD is only 256Go instead of 512Go. When I look at the BIOS boot device, the PC which does not work has only "UEFI : SSD Samsung ...." option if no USB device is plugged in. On the other PC with Windows 10 Pro, I have 2 choices : "UEFI : SSD Samsung ..." and "Windows Boot Manager". Windows Boot Manager is on the top of the choice.
Why there is not Windows Boot Manager option on the PC which does not start ? If necessary, how can I repair this ?

Ludovic, If you are seeing UEFI options in the BIOS boot menu, then I would expect that your computer should have the option for 'Windows Boot Manager'.
When you made the full backup (mentioned in your initial post) - was this a full disk & partitions backup of the whole original drive? If yes, then how many partitions are shown within the backup image file if you look at this either using the rescue media, or on another system with ATI installed?
For a UEFI system that uses the Windows Boot Manager, then I would expect a small EFI partition to be present (where the Boot Configuration Data files are held).
For the Blue screen with 'Recovery', have you clicked on Recovery to see what options are being offered, such as if 'Startup Repair' is one of the options?

Steve, I am not home with the PC so I can just give you informations I have with me.
Blue screen : Mouse does not work. Escape key just restart the computer. I have not try Space key, Enter key, just function keys, but I will and see if there are options.
For the backup, I did a full backup. The name of the file is PC-LUDO_full_b1_s1_v1.
You will find joined files where you will see partitions available. 1 picture is done with Acronis boot key. The 2 others were done with Microsoft restore Windows 10 boot key (whose use was unsuccessfull).

Ludovic, thank you for the further information & screen images.
The third image (from ATI) shows that you have an EFI system 'Partition du systeme EFI 500 Mo' which corresponds to 'Lecteur 0 Partition 1: ESP 500.0 Mo Systeme' shown in the other image.
What type of keyboard / mouse are you using when you see the Recovery Blue screen? You may need to try using a wired keyboard / mouse if you are currently using wireless devices.
If you cannot access any of the Recovery options that should be offered on the Blue panel, then I would recommend downloading a copy of the Windows 10 Installation media from the Microsoft Download webpagehttps://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10, and booting from this into the Windows Recovery environment to attempt a Startup Repair.
See webpage: How to Boot to Advanced Startup Options in Windows 10

Steve, Thanks for your support.
The computer is a laptop, so keyboard is integrated in the computer and there is a pad for the mouse. I cannot click on Recovery and I tried several keys (Enter, space, Esc ...) without any result.
With Microsoft repare process I have with the advanced options the result you will find in the joined picture.
Then I have found a website www.malekal.com where they explain if this repair option does not work, you can type Dos commands to repair the bcd file. It did not succeed. Without success, they propose to save and then replace the Boot directory by a new one. xcopy .... but it did not work.
They have also utilities to check the SSD drive but all the results are good. So there is no hardware problem.
I think the only solution will be to reload Windows. But which one ? Windows 8 which wae initially delivered with the PC or Windows 10 as I was for several years ?

Ludovic, your Windows 10 has been working and activated on this laptop, so there is no need to go back to Windows 8. Activation is based on the hardware signature of the laptop which has not changed, so you can simply download the Windows 10 installation media from the Microsoft webpage - choosing the same edition as you had installed previously (Home or Pro) and reinstall then it should activate again automatically. The current download is now for the latest Windows 10 October 2018 Update version 1809, so will save a lot of time needing to run Windows Update. I would recommend using the option to Download the tool to create the installation media on a USB stick, especially if you are doing this from a different computer.

Steve, I am in a "Cul de sac" now... Windows 10 has not enough place to be installed on the internal SSD. So I formatted the partition where Windows 10 was prevously installed. There is now more than 400Go available and the space is still too small....
On Dell website, I also did an USB memory stick reloading key with the initial installation as delivered, but the result is the same...
Please see the attached files.
I tried again with a bigger USB memory (32Gb) to be sure that the space needed was on the internal disque and not the USB stick

Ludovic, the issue here is not with your 467GB partition but with the 500MB ESP System partition where Windows wants to be able to write its boot files but which has 0.0MB free space!
You will need to select the 500MB ESP System partition and Format this to release the space needed by Windows, then you can continue to install Windows 10 to the 467GB partition.

Steve,
Thanks a lot for your support. I finally installed once again Windows 10 on the laptop. It worked well. Then I restored not all of the disk but only the part C where the previous Windows 10 was installed with drivers, softs and datas.
All is fine now and I will buy ATI as the test time is passed and save again my hard disk !
Best regards,
Ludovic
