What benefit does Acronis Cloud offer at $99 / year at 250 GB when you can get this same amount of storage plus Acronis online with True Image Online for just $49.99 / year? For someone looking to store image backups online, why would anyone go with Acronis Cloud? Does it offer any benefits over True Image Online?

A bit outdated article with comparison is here - http://kb.acronis.com/content/17795
OS support and "Integration with local backup solution" rows are different if you consider TrueImage 2013 vs Backup&Recovery 11.5 Workstation, but the rest is the same, however,
IIRC, Backup&Recovery now allows web restore from file archives too.
Also, TrueImage allows only one backup task to cloud. On the other hand, it allows backup to online to be suspended if the computer is powered off and continue uploading the rest of data to be backed up after next power-up. Backup&Recovery must complete the whole upload and can't be interrupted.

I believe we may be talking about different products here. I am trying to compare:
- Acronis Cloud ($99 / yr)
- True Image Online ($49.99 / yr)

You are comparing:
- Acronis Backup & Recovery Online
- Acronis Online Home Backup

Basically, I am considering going with True Image Online and just wanted to make sure I knew what I was getting.

Many thanks

If "Acronis cloud" is what appears on the page http://www.acronis.com/solutions/cloud.html under "PC and Workstation backup to the Cloud" , it's (apparently) the new name for Backup&Recovery Online (for workstations), and the article I mentioned apply.
