Acronis True Image 2013 Background Processes

My PC is old and I am wondering if all the auto start processes are needed when TI is not in use.
I make full images of drive C. If recovery is needed, I boot from the recovery disc.
I will sometimes backup certain folders and files.
Occasionally I use Try & Decide.
All of the above are started manually.
I want to be sure I can recover an image if needed.

Wizard, welcome to these User Forums.
Please see KB 34869: True Image 2013 by Acronis: Processes and Services which lists / describes what each of these items do. You should be able to disable any unwanted Services via the Services.msc console (set the service start setting to disabled) and this should stop any associated processes from being started.
Only the Acronis Scheduler2 service is required for your backups - the Non Stop & Sync Agent services can both be disabled if not being used.
