On the Backup Media are the Backup-files deleted. Unfortunately with the Windows-Explorer and not through the Software ATIH10! So the physical files are not anymore there, but the Backup-Information are still there under "Recovery". How can I delete these obsolete Backup information?

Hello GreenHybrid,

Thank you for posting and welcome to our forum. I will definitely help you with this issue.

You can use the following workaround to get rid of the unwanted backup information:

1. Depending on your OS, please navigate to the following folder and delete this file (this file is a database that stores information about backups, you can read more about it here):

XP: /Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data/Acronis/TrueImageHome/Database/archives.xml

Windows 7/Vista: C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Database\archives.xml

2. Restart Acronis True Image 2010 Home and you will no longer have those entries. However, it is possible you have some other backups on your machine currently, to re-populate the backup list please do the following:

Click on the Recovery tab in the main program menu and click on the Browse for backups button. Navigate to your backup folder and select your backups.

If you have additional questions, please let me know.

Thank you.
