Check the contents of the log, this might give more information.

I've received the exact same error code, 0x9F2C53C72E8BCD1F, that is all the log says. From posts on this forum this error code has repeatedly appeared for many users. Surely someone with knowledge of Acronis True Image 2013 can at least provide some possible reasons for this code. Personally, I don't know whether to trash all my backups and start new, or exactly what.

John,

As for the integrity of your images/backups, you can validate them, if they validate they are going to be OK, alternatively you can either mount the tib files (if you have made an image) or explore them if you have made a file backup.

Do you have your task set up to send you emails? If you do and they are not being sent or are being sent to an address that no longer works, that would be enough to create a message similar to yours. Unfortunately the True Image error messages tend to be a catch all, the hex number probably points the programmers to the function/operation that has failed, which isn't of much help to the end user.

I've received the exact same error code, 0x9F2C53C72E8BCD1F, that is all the log says as a first message.
My installation : Acronis True Image 2014 , Trial-Version, attempting to use Backup to the Acronis Cloud.
Surely, there should be some more explanation.
See attached picture from error-message
Thks for any hint.

My backup works nice until my backup storage become full. I delete old backups and since then I receive the same message after each back up;
0x9F2C53C72E8BCD1F
Always on the end of the partition backup, I receive the message can’t open the partition backup?

Thanks

At this point, you need to stop using the old backup task and create a new backup task but use different settings inside your backup scheme. Set up your task as per this example so the program will provide its own automatic cleanup which will avoid the disk full message in the future. Avoid the use of elapsed days or disk size limits. Use the option "store no more than X recent chains". Automatic deletion will occur of the old backups once the program reaches the user specific threshold of X
