[RESOLVED] Acronis True Image won't activate
After placing an order with scan.co.uk I received a free copy of Acronis True Image with my order.
I used their download link provided on the piece of card that has my Serial Number on it and downloaded the file (www.acronis.scan.co.uk/trueimage).
After installing typed in the 64 digit key but the software refuses to think it is a valid key and the activate key is greyed out.
I then went to my Acronis account and registered the key to my account to which your website thinks they key is fine and even lets me download it.
After this I then used your live chat service where the operator refused to help because I got the key from Scan.
Does anybody know how I can get this problem fixed. It would be greatly appreciated :)

At first I'd like to clear up the matter of live chat. I checked your account and found out that you are using an OEM version. And support for OEM versions of Acronis products is provided through Acronis Knowledge Base and Acronis Support Forum only. Here you can more information about your support options.
Your serial number is correct and I'm going to look for possible solutions of the activation problem.

I have since tried all the different version of you have available on your site to which all of them still find the key invalid.
Really is a shame as the software looks rather good from what I have seen.

Most likely, the uploaded installation file doesn't match your OEM activation key.

I'm suffering with the same issue (ie serial key from scan.co.uk and can't activate).

Since you serial number is registered under your account, we can be sure that the key itself is correct.
Most likely you've downloaded non-matching installation file, please contact the vendor scan.co.uk to receive the correct download link.
I've done exactly that and pointed them towards this thread.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I am having a similar issue.
I bought an SSD from ADATA which came with a free copy of Acronis True Image HD. I downloaded and installed it but then when it asks for the key it doesn't accept my key. The button is greyed out. I think the download was for 2010 however when I go to the My Products & Downloads page it says the key is for 2013. Can you send me the correct download based on my key?

I am also having the similar issue mentioned above. I bought an SSD ADATA SP900 which came with a free copy of Acronis True Image HD. After having downloaded and installed, the provided key is not accepted. Perhaps a wrong version installed, i guess. Don't know where else to ask for help than here, so i would be very grateful if you could send me the correct download matching to my key.

The best way in such cases is to contact hardware vendor support for correct download link or a new serial number .

I purchased an ADATA SSD and downloaded the Acronis True Image and received the key from Acronis.
When I try and put the key into the Product Activation screen, the Activate! button remains greyed out.
Anything you can do?

Right, I'm now getting fed up of getting emails when someone comments on this post. I have turned off everything and I'm still being notified.
So now I'm commenting on here and making sure that everything is off including the "Notify me when new comments are posted" box is unchecked.

Well, as I have said: I have also turned off notifications (ie check the screenshot I have attached) but I'm still getting emailed.
