I have TI Home 2010 latest build on Windows 7. I get Error #1722 RPC Server nicht verfügbar (0xFFF0).

Hi,
I have deinstalled TI 2010 and made a new installation. And the problem is solved.

Hello Gerhard,

I understand the question and will do everything possible from my side to give you a clear explanation of the encountered issue.

The source of the issue is Acronis Scheduler service and/or processes are not running properly. This service is responsible for executing scheduled tasks.

In order to solve the issue please do the following in case it happen again:

Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008

  • Make sure that Acronis Scheduler2 Service is Started and the Startup type is set to Automatic:
    • Click Start -> Run and type in services.msc;
    • In the Services window locate Acronis Scheduler2 Service;
    • Right-click on the service and select Properties in the pop-up menu;
    • In the invoked window set the Startup type to Automatic. Click OK;
    • Right-click on the service again and select Start in the pop-up menu.
  • If this does not help, please download Acronis Scheduler, which is a special utility to update the scheduler service, extract it and run install.bat. The utility will automatically update the service.

Hello Dmitry,

I am using TI 2009, but I have the same problem and tried everything you have described as solution. The problem still persists and when I start the ' Acronis Scheduler Service 2 ' manually a failure 3 message appears that the system cannot find the path to open the service.

I there anything else that I can do before re-installing the program?

Thank you for posting, I will be happy to help. Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.
Unfortunately, it looks like you should reinstall the entire program. You can Acronis Cleanup utility to uninstall the software, reboot the computer to complete the changes and perform a clean install.
