Active Protection locks up system when running ArqBackup

I've been having some issues with Active Protection on OSX 10.13.3 when using Acronis True Image. Active Protection locks up my computer when ArqBackup is running. I've had this issue for a few months, and investigated with the ArqBackup developer, and it was only tonight I narrowed down the issue on 3 different machines to being linked to Active Protection.

I have found that, despite adding ArqBackup to the whitelist, the only solution (for now) seems to be disabling Active Protection. All three of the machines that I have tested continue to lockup, even with ArqBackup added to the Active Protection whitelist. I have tried to work with Acronis on the issue, but despite the provided logs, they need me to make video documentation, which I have yet to do.

I've reviewed your open ticket, yes, the video capture won't help us much. As far as I understand from the issue description, the OS just hangs when Active Protection starts scanning ArqBackup process.The team management has prioritized your ticket, but feel free to contact me if any questions or concerns.

Hello Bill,

the issue is still under the investigation. I'd suggest opening a support ticket and let our engineers check the diagnostic information from your system. This will help us to find the root cause, as the issue didn't reproduce in our lab.
