Error after backing up.

Hello, I use Acronis on my PC but wanted to try it on my iMac before buying.
So today I downloaded the trial version. I'm using the latest version and I run Big Sur 11.1 on my iMac.
Twice in a row when I tried to make a global backup like I do on my PC it has told me it failed. This sure doesn't make me want to buy it if this is going to happen.
Can someone please help with this?
Many thanks, and sorry about the text, I don't know how to make a file out of it.
Here's the error text.

Hello Paul,
thank you for your posting! I've checked our internal sources for a known solution, but unfortunately didn't find any similar resolved cases. If you have some time for the investigation, I'd suggest opening a support ticket so that our engineers can look into the situation and help.

I'm in (almost) exactly the same boat as the OP. Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office on PC runs smoothly & without errors. However, same cannot be said for my Mac. I continue to receive "The last backup failed. Unknown error". The error log (below) says "error 0xfff1: Resource deadlock avoided" and no matter what I do to try and resolve it, its unsuccessful.
Since I am testing the software as a trial before buying, if I cannot backup my Mac, I'll have to look for another solution (I really want to use Acronis, though).
Environment : MacOS Catalina ver. 10.15.7 Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office ver. 26.0.39605
Solutions tried :
a) Fire Aid on Mac. Errors found. Couldn't correct errors.
b) Reformatted disk. Restored from Time Machine backup. Ran First Aid. No errors found.
c) Deleted backup job each attempt. Deleted any partial backup completed each attempt.
d) Uninstalled Acronis software. Downloaded and reinstalled software.
e) Error received regardless of backup destination (NAS or Acronis Cloud)
f) Opened a support ticket. Haven't heard back yet.
SO, HAS ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS PROBLEM OR HAVE ANY SOLUTION RECOMMENDATIONS ?

looks like the software cannot get access to
/System/Volumes/Data/Users/RobLinda/Library/MobileDocuments.1073438692/com~apple~mail/Data/MailData/ubiquitous_SyncedSmartMailboxes.plist
I'd try excluding them from the backup and testing the backup once again.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, while waiting for a reply from Acronis support, I tried deleting this and some other files that the errors indicated and the backup (finally) completed. Luckily, I don't use Mac email, so wasn't too worried about deleting those files, but had I used Mac email, I don't know if just deleting the files would have been an option.
Regardless - backup works now.
