Acronis 2021 prevents computer going to sleep

Adam, sorry but you should not be deleting any files for this situation! Please read through the earlier pages of this topic for suggestions that may help, otherwise, I would recommend opening a Support Case direct with Acronis for it to be investigated.

Hello Steve! Thanks for your reply, I will try to do that.

I have had this problem also, (I am running the latest update) but I have only just worked out that it is 'Acronis Scheduler2 Service' causing the issue after reading this thread and running powercfg -requests.
I disabled the service to start with, re ran powercfg -requests and of course the Scheduler2 Service was now absent.
I then let my PC sit idle until it was meant to go to sleep and it did so
I brought my PC out of sleep, then did a reboot
I then turned the service back on and rebooted again
I re ran powercfg -requests, the Scheduler2 Service was absent..
I let my PC sit idle once more and it went into sleep mode after the set amount of time.
It looks like for me anyway disabling the service and re-enabling it has fixed the problem but I will wait until the next scheduled backup happens to confirm and I will report back

I was wrong, after a few hours it returned and stopped my PC from sleeping again. I uninstalled Acronis, rebooted and reinstalled it. Setup my backups and schedules again ran powercfg -requests so so good, hopefully it is fixed this time.

Still working as it should....:) :)

I'm having this exact same issue, on TI 2021.
I went through a series of excepting the service (powercfg and such), before, and recently upgraded my PC (built another PC, took forever to find a graphics card...), and now I'm stuck at the same deal.
Scheduler2 service is the ONLY service that blocks sleep, and now I've had it wake my PC a couple of times, despite having ZERO scheduled tasks. I also went through and "zapped" them, using the tool, but they came back, a day or so later, go figure.
Has anyone definitively solved this, permanently?

Has anyone figured this out, definitively?
I'm stuck at the same point, I can "task zap" the tasks out (even though I didn't have ANY of my backup tasks scheduled, I had a couple of jobs there for updating and such, created by Acronis I presume), but I cannot get it to keep recreating the "Scheduler 2 Service" task, no way, no how.
I can zap it, restart the service, and it goes away, briefly, only to come back a few hours later, with maddening consistency. I remember disabling this on older versions (I've used Acronis for some years now, with great success), but 2021 is inanely frustrating like this, in that I can't make it go away and stay away. Which means, that after some short, indeterminate time, my machine refuses to sleep/hibernate, without being forced.
I have un-installed and re-installed, and restored my backup jobs, a couple of times, for reference.
I'm at a loss, ideas??? TIA.
Apologies on the double-post. I submitted my post, and despite getting a (re)welcome to the forums message, my post never showed up, so I submitted a 2nd, similar post...

I am having issues with sleep and Acronis for a while now. It went away when I turned on a different power schedule in windows 10. I have recently turned on hybrid-sleep by turning on hibernation. I don't want to fix it by turning off default sleep settings in Acronis because it's meant to operate that way. If you don't want the scheduled events failing you have to fix the issues.
I will write back if the fix "sticks".
EDIT: so far turning on hibernate and hybrid sleep has worked for me

I have had sleep "fixed" for at least a day now by turning on "hybrid sleep" by turning hibernation on.
Finally I can focus on something else, like how acronis backups fail when on a different subnet.

I have got rid of the problem by checking power options of your network adapters.
