Unable to login - "the backup service is unavailable"
When I double click on the icon on the lower-right corner of the screen, then try to login, I get the message:
"the backup service is unavailable"
I am using Windows 10 Pro 64bit.
I am using the proper login and even did password recovery. See attached image.
Thank you for your posting! The issue could be caused by one of the Acronis services being stopped. I'd start with checking the services (Start -> Run -> services.msc). If there are any Acronis service being stopped, try to start the service. If the issue persists anyway, please uninstall the software, then re-boot the PC and run the installation file as administrator (even if you are logged in to the system as admin, please right-click on the installer and Run as Administrator. This approach allows to install the app with the advanced level of privileges). Additionally I'd recommend temporarily disabling the anti-virus software before installation to make sure all registry lines are updated correctly and not blocked by antivirus.
Uninstall/Reinstall solve the issue. Thank you.
