Snap Deploy 5 server update problem
Hi, few months ago I updated my Snap Deploy 5 server from version 1660 to 1749
Everything went OK, but now when I try to update from 1749 to 1761 I'm getting an error when trying to update PXE Server module. (License server and OS deploy server have been updated correctly)
The problem seems to be that the installed version of PXE Server is in Spanish, and the update I'm trying to apply is in english... I started the research and then realised what happened:
My software on version 1660 was in spanish. When I applied the update to 1749, I did with the english patch. It worked correctly, not giving me any language issue. Just tell me that the update was done:
Acronis Snap Deploy 5 License Server 5.0.1660 -> 5.0.1749
Acronis Snap Deploy 5 OS Deploy Server 5.0.1660 -> 5.0.1749
Acronis Snap Deploy 5 Management Console 5.0.1660 -> 5.0.1749
The point is that it didnt just update the program, it made a new install, and now my system has two Acronis product installed with different versions:
Acronis Snap Deploy 5 License Server 5.0.1660 in Spanish
Acronis Snap Deploy 5 License Server 5.0.1761 in English
Acronis Snap Deploy 5 OS Deploy Server 5.0.1660 in Spanish
Acronis Snap Deploy 5 OS Deploy Server 5.0.1761 in English
Acronis Snap Deploy 5 Management Console 5.0.1660 in Spanish
Acronis Snap Deploy 5 Management Console 5.0.1749 in English
PXE Server 41.0.72 in Spanish.
Now I can't follow with the software updates, if I use the English 1761 package it fails at PXE Server install due different languages. If I use the 1761 Spanish package it asks me to use the english file as it detects english setup.
Should I remove the spanish packages including PXE Server and then reinstall it with the english package? Would I lose my configuration?
