Can mount NFS share via CLI, cannot mount the same share via WebUI

Hello,

Currently I'm experiencing a weird issue when trying to configure NFS on the Acronis Gateway.

I can successfully mount the NFS share on the Acronis Backup machine via the normal Linux `mount` command. Unfortunately when trying to mount the share via the WebUI I'm getting:

Failed to verify storage parameters. Failed to connect to NFS share. Make sure the volume parameters and credentials are correct and the export is accessible.

The NFS share is this:

/nfs *(rw,sync,all_squash,no_subtree_check,insecure,anonuid=1005,anongid=1005)

Report ID 2000517223.

Can you please let me know how to debug this?

Thank you

Hello Razvan,

thank you for your posting! I see that you already have an open support ticket - would you mind sharing the outcome here, so that other users can find it in case of a similar issue?

One of the reasons could be NFS directory which is about to be used for storing backups not being empty. Please make sure the NFS Export directory is empty prior ABGW configuration.

This solved my issue, thank you!

Now I'm getting this:
user 'digitalwow' is not allowed to register/unregister storages Error details provided by PlatformAccountServer: Offering items required for infra component registration are not available, needed caps: 1, available caps: 4
Any hints? Thanks

Hello Razvan,

the message usually indicates this tenant does not have enabled offering item "Partner-owned backup storage". This offering item should be enabled by upper-level Partner-level tenant: https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/AcronisCyberCloud/#…

  • If the Partner-owned backup storage offering item is enabled for a partner tenant by an upper-level administrator, the partner administrators can organize the storage in the partner's own data center, by using the Acronis Cyber Infrastructure software. Click Add backup storage on the Locations section to find information about organizing a backup storage in your own data center.

At this point I'd ask the support engineer working on your case to check your enabled offerings (unfortunately, I don't have access to the systems). If that Partner-owned backup storage is not enabled, please contact your reseller/sales manager in order to enable necessary offering item in order to resolve the issue.
