Hi there. I want to image a computer using Acronis True Image 2018 but I am having issues connecting the computer hard drive with the software; when I run Acronis True Image, I cannot see/access the computer hard drive through it. Would anyone be able to tell me what the issue might be?

The computer I am using is a DELL model and the operating system is Windows 10. I have also attached a copy of the hard drive information of the computer.

Thank you very much.

Maryam, welcome to these public User Forums.

The Dell PC has a NVMe M.2 SSD drive and therefore the ATI 2018 Acronis bootable rescue media needs to be created on the same PC using the 'Simple' option so that WindowsPE media is created from the Windows 10 Recovery Environment files and includes device drivers for the NVMe drive.

The alternative is that you will need to create WinPE media on another PC and inject the additional device drivers needed for the NVMe SSD, such as the Intel RST drivers.

Next, when booting the Acronis rescue media it needs to be using UEFI / EFI BIOS boot mode as this is normally required for NVMe drives to boot the OS.
