Is Acronis is waiting for error gone by them self?
I've bought Acronis True Image last year since that we're able to create backups but we can only restore them in a strange way or it is just not working.
As i first get into contact with acronis they told me the error is also known and they are looking for it.
Some month later there is no solution and i have got no license to get some professional support?.
ACRONIS This can't be! I've got a problem from my first day, but my support expired.
We are working on well known Dell systems and we cant get sure our backups can be restored.
In fact on our systems some other yellow imaging software does the job very well. We're just nor changing our software as a sign of hope.
In your official bug report list your writing 'This message can be safely ignored - it will not affect the final restoration result.'
But we can't ignore it cause we're not able to work with it.
Nowdays we had enough time (waiting for a solution) to find some solution on our own but they did not work on changing disk drive types. By the way its a nice bug!
And today i'am hoping there is someone at acronis reading and understanding i'am getting more and more frustrated about the communication acronis shows to us.
This i sugest reinstalling windows is much faster then use acronis true image.
ok now i'am feeling a little bit better.
here is the bug i recognized in acronis.
when your using windows pe 3.0 on dell machines it seems acronis is getting a little bit confused about the partitions that have to be restored. If you want to restore the hole media acronis breaks with error "error on lock drive".
The second bug is acronis is not able to restore partitions wich are following dell system and recovery partition.
