Is Acronis is waiting for error gone by them self?

Hi all.
I've bought Acronis True Image last year since that we're able to create backups but we can only restore them in a strange way or it is just not working.

As i first get into contact with acronis they told me the error is also known and they are looking for it.
Some month later there is no solution and i have got no license to get some professional support?.

ACRONIS This can't be! I've got a problem from my first day, but my support expired.

We are working on well known Dell systems and we cant get sure our backups can be restored.
In fact on our systems some other yellow imaging software does the job very well. We're just nor changing our software as a sign of hope.

In your official bug report list your writing 'This message can be safely ignored - it will not affect the final restoration result.'

But we can't ignore it cause we're not able to work with it.
Nowdays we had enough time (waiting for a solution) to find some solution on our own but they did not work on changing disk drive types. By the way its a nice bug!

And today i'am hoping there is someone at acronis reading and understanding i'am getting more and more frustrated about the communication acronis shows to us.

This i sugest reinstalling windows is much faster then use acronis true image.
ok now i'am feeling a little bit better.

here is the bug i recognized in acronis.
when your using windows pe 3.0 on dell machines it seems acronis is getting a little bit confused about the partitions that have to be restored. If you want to restore the hole media acronis breaks with error "error on lock drive".
The second bug is acronis is not able to restore partitions wich are following dell system and recovery partition.

If there realy is some willing to help COMMUNICATE with!

Hello everybody...
and again let me try to get some support.

Remember Acronis 2012 Plus Pack never worked for me.
Perheps i should just try to get my money back and change the Imaging software.

Let get my questions in a single line ...
What to do, when Acronis just never worked and service exhausted ?

I'm sorry to hear that you've faced this problem.

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response on Forum. I've checked your case, and can see that it's still open. It's number is 01388745, and it's pending a bugfix. You can find the case, it's history, and leave a comment there in this section of your Acronis account.

Per the results of our lab, the error pops-up during the recovery, but doesn't prevent the restoration from finishing, and doesn't affect its results.

If the error you receive does prevent the recovery process, and there's no way to proceed with it, please let me know. This will be considered a separate issue, and we'll have a German support representative reach out for you directly. All I need to know is the exact sequence of steps you're performing, and what actually happens.

I've told acronis some month ago that we have got this error since we bought it.
Then we were told we have to wait until this fix is done.

But we can't restore any backup

What i do is boot up with Windows PE and updated Acronis.

When i select to recover the hole drive "Error on lock drive appears".
But this is only happening if i check the hole in one checkbox.
When i select all partition acronis is just breaking up.

If there is realy somebody doing somthing, i would by suprised.

ACRONIS is this time just fully useless ... we can take backups but we can never restore them ...

I'm sorry but i can not wait one year to restore my backup ...

Two weeks ago i bought rival produkt which seem to work.
I guess your use interface seems to better one but this time acronis is just quit useless for me....

What makes me realy angry ... my support expired before you have an solution this ....
schould be better you would rename your support to short time nohting.

Could you tell me how get support to recover ?

Afer six month acronis ask back if my error i still pending.
Now i had to take photos and send them back but i can't restor anyway.

I just want to recover my files.

We are currently working on a case that you submitted in November 2011, its number is: 01388745

The issue is in our Testing Lab being investigated by our Development team and the Support Representative working on your case asked you for screenshots of your recovery steps and diagnostic information from the machine, unfortunately we only received the screenshots.

Could you send us the Windows system information file and Acronis system report collected from the bootable media.

Hello Anton,
i send you the screenshots cause Acronis asked for them.
(By the way: just 6 Month after i reported my problems!)

But i realy dont wan't to send you more details, cause everytime i let the error occure my system gets damaged and i takes always hours to fix it and as i said i'm using WinPE. Therfore i can't read the system reports..

Isn't possible acronis gets a own dell pc. Then you should see the same error. I think the error did just occur cause acronis is not realy able to handle the new Win-Bootsystem when there are more bootable systems installed.
