Hello, I am attempting to create a backup using True Image Echo Enterprise Server build 8353 and receive the following error:

E00070001: Internal Error: start sector in not uncopied area #2.

W2K3 Server Ent x64 C:\ Partition 50 GB F:\ Partition 4 TB GPT Disk Type

Saving Image locally to G: partition with over 10 TB of free space

Have also tried saving image over network with same error. I saw a thread on Google referencing some of the home products could not work with partitions over 2 TB. Would this be true with Enterprise Server as well?

Thank You,

I'm right with you buddy...

I've got the exact same problem as you... Same error, same OS (only mine is 32bit) and it's a 4.5TB GPT disk type....

You find a solution?

Hello all,

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

I'll do my best to solve the issue.

First of all, please download and install the latest build #8398.

If the issue still persists with that newest build, please try to fix the issue the following way:

Download the SnapAPI update, unpack the archive and run the SnapAPISetup.msi file. Install the update, reboot your server and check if the problem remains.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

Thank you.

I am having the same error on a 2.3TB GPT raid 5 disk array. Half way through the backup it fails. I updated the snap api drivers and no help.

Hello MyOnSiteIT,

I'll do my best to fix the issue.

However, first of all could you please provide me with the following information?

  1. Could you please let me know the exact name and build number of the software you use?
  2. Did you try to create a disk/partition backup archive or to back up some certain files/folders?

We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

Thank you.
