Hi,

I've been trying everything, to no avail, to try to recover a. tib file backup I have. Can't seem to create a bootable disk or usb for my system which has a perc h710p controller.  Everytime Acronis boots with "loading the boot loader" then black screen.

I was able to recover a backup while in Acronis Windows to an external hard drive, win disk manager shows it's online, but windows doesn't see any info on it.

My system:

Dell Precision T7600 (64 GB RAM)

Perc RAID contoller h710p (w/latest driver). Contolls 2 SSD in RAID 0, and 2 SATA raid 0

Win 7

Thanks-

Bill

Billibong,

The Linux default bootable recovery media usually doesn't have RAID controller drivers.  You will want to create the WindowsPE version instead.  This can be done from the same media builder, but if you have not already downloaded and installed the necessary Windows ADK, you will need to do that first and the application wil direct you to the proper installer.

If you're lucky, the WinPE will already have the necessary drives for your card and let you continue.  If not, you'll have to inject them into your WinPE manually.

Try the default WinPE first, but if it boots, but cant detect your controller and/or drives attached to it, you'll want to look at these:

Add and Remove Drivers to an Offline Windows Image

DISM GUI - Home
